57 employees have been laid off at CNC Logistics at the Palatine facility. The layoffs were reported due to the WARN Act better known as the Illinois Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
The WARN Act notice cited was the closure of the plant.
According to its website, CNC is a contractor for Amazon as a “last mile provider” and has worked with Amazon since 2017.
