Officials said officers responded at 4:01 p.m. to the 2600 block of West Krause Avenue after a ShotSpotter alert.
A second ShotSpotter alert came just two minutes later indicating four shots in the 2200 block of West Malone Street, near South Westmoreland Avenue.
According to police, a 19 year old man was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was transported by a privately owned vehicle.
At this time, no arrests have been reported.
