Activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot by a radical ideologue in Orem Utah at a campus “Prove Me Wrong” event. Kirk was an Illinois native and accomplished organizer who loved public debate. It is important to stand together at this time. Here are some upcoming Illinois vigils. We will update this article accordingly as we learn about more.

Join the community at the Franklin County Court House in the lawn for a candle light vigil with music and inspiring speakers.
Saturday September 20th at 7:30pm
The White County Republicans are hosting a community wide candle light vigil at Veteran’s Memorial Park on Main Street in Carmi. They have a great schedule of events and encourage people to bring memorial items.
Saturday September 27th at 7:00pm
The community will come together at the Macoupin County Court House 201 E Main in Carlinville.
